David P. West - Vice President

Since joining Gemini Consulting Group in 2007, Mr. West has been involved in developing the

company's healthcare investment opportunities in both the United States and overseas. His

activities have included the analysis of financing arrangements and the support of investment and

management activities with company clients.

Prior to joining Gemini Consulting Group, Mr. West was a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley's

real estate private equity investing and investment banking group in Manhattan from 2006 to 2007.

From 2004 to 2006, Mr. West was appointed by the White House to serve in the United States

Department of Homeland Security as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for International

Affairs and Coordinator of the U.S. - U.K. Joint Contact Group on Homeland Security. In this role,

Mr. West served as an international advisor to Secretary Tom Ridge and Secretary Michael Chertoff

on intelligence and law enforcement information sharing, science and technology research and develop-

ment, cargo, border, and transport security, anti-human and drug trafficking, and financial crime

initiatives.

A Chicago native, Mr. West earned a B.A. in Economics and B.A. in Public Policy Studies from

Duke University. Mr. West earned a MSc in International Relations from the London School of

Economics.
